Wie die meisten von euch bin auch ich von den steigenden Spritpreisen betroffen. Daher habe auch ich die politischen Versprechen zum Tankrabatt mit Interesse verfolgt. Ich war nicht sonderlich enttäuscht, als klar geworden ist, dass es leere Versprechen waren.
Nachdem das Kartellamt durchblicken hat lassen exakt nichts zu tun, stellte sich die Frage „was tun?“. Die Preisdaten der Tankstellen sind seit 2013 öffentlich. Zumindest eigentlich. Wer als Verbraucherinformationsdienst zugelassen ist, kann auf die Daten zugreifen. Der Rest sieht in die Röhre. So wird OpenData auf Deutsch geschrieben.
Also musste ich mir die Daten auf eine andere Art und Weise beschaffen. Welcher dieser Verbraucherdienste ich nun als Quelle für meine crawling Aktivitäten ausgewählt habe, bleibt aus offensichtlichen Gründen geheim.
